"Unfortunately we will not replace bulbs with tip material coming off
unless we installed them ourselves. As we have no control over the
installation we cannot be expected to warranty a perfectly working bulb.

Bulbs are meant to be installed and left alone until their service life
has expired. Pulling them in and out only increases the chance for
knicking the tip as the bulb is pushed through the housing".
