Happened to me after I replaced the wiper blade with the recommended Bosch replacement...

Turned out it didnt stop, it was "stuck" because the blade was too long and hitting the top of the brake light/spoiler.

Check it out... hopefully it's this simple. I went to a blade that was 1" shorter.
