Stock it's by no means a "hair trigger" - although Glocks are one of the most easily and frequently modified pistols on the market - so one could have installed a lighter trigger. Given Plaxico's Idiot status, I doubt he would've had the intelligence to perform this sequence, unless of course he "acquired" the gun that way.

Secondly, the Glock trigger is technically a safety (with three internal sub-safety systems), but at the end of the day, one fell swoop in pulling the trigger will drop the hammer and discharge the firearm. Chances are he grabbed the for firearm as it was sliding down his polyester "suit" and accidentally made full contact with the trigger.
