I have done the "rookie experience" at Atlanta Motor Speedway twice (both Christmas gifts). I will say it was a blast. Especially if you don't have any sort of racing background. It was only like 8 laps or something, but it felt longer out on the track.

If your Dad is a Nascar fan, I would think he will enjoy it. I know mine did.
