Mine is garaged at the moment so can't offer any pics...someone may post one soon enough. But you're correct, it goes in the foot area of where the rear-middle passenger would sit. Makes it easy to reach from the drivers seat. Imagine if you were sitting in the middle-rear, it would go where the heels of your feet would be.
