i guess it would all depend on which way the drain tubes are routed.
in a car i owned years and years ago, one of the drain tubes was being pinched between the door hinge and the door. when it would rain, my rear passenger floor would get soaked. after discovering the pinch and re-routing the drain tube, i no longer had an issue.
