Different thinking in that part of world. People over there are used to getting killed and killing others. It has happened through ages. They will kill their brothers and sisters for power and money. They think that they rather be killed by their own than by some foreign power. Very religious community. The moment some foreign power enters they are united in their opinion. If you do a poll in not just Iraq but entire muslim-Eurasia on how many locals like the US invasion, you will see the difference.
