The Cupertino, Calif.-based company (AAPL:said late Tuesday that the upcoming Macworld Expo in January will be its last,
and CEO Steve Jobs will not give a final keynote at the popular event.

The announcement sent the company's shares
down more than 5% to $90.44 after hours, underscoring the
significance of Apple's decision.
One longtime Apple analyst said the company apparently no longer saw Macworld as an effective venue,
while also speculating that other factors may be involved, including Jobs's health.
Another analyst also speculated about some sort of power play at Apple.
In a prepared statement, Apple said "trade shows have become
a very minor part of how Apple reaches its customers."
In the meantime Business develops a taste for Apples.
