Actually I disagree. You may be a very balanced individual at your age, however I have yet to meet a teenager that has the wisdom and perspective of an adult. We have all been (myself included) guilty of believing we have maturity, intelligence and a greater undertanding of a given problem than the adult that is trying to teach us, hence the oft repeated refrain by younger people "you don't undertand how hard it is for us"

It is reality however that we often do not. I submit that the teacher has paid you respect by asking your opinion of subjects that you are plainly familiar. He is not obliged to agree or otherwise with your point of view. Some teachers are good at considering other peoples points of view, some are not. That is the same out in the wider community.

Why on earth are you talking legal action on the one hand, and proclaiming your 'balanced' point of view on the other? I suggest that your age and therefore your ego are in action here and that in time you will see it for just the philosophical difference that it really is.....

PS. As an aside, I once sat down with some very good friends who are South African/Russian Jews and sought their opinion on why they thought they were 'victimised and persecuted' when they lived in a free country such as Australia from a very young age. Each and every one of them was vehement in their belief and conviction about the holocaust etc as the reason for their persecution. None of them could understand that even though they had led a life of relative peace and prosperity their belief structure was indoctrinated by their religion and family. It was an illuminating chat and revealed that their 'knowledge' of their persecution was biased.......
