As to the point of being debated (Palestinian-Israeli conflict), I have a different opinion as you would imagine. I too lost family members to it, I find it rare to meet any one from either side who didn’t.
Rather than talking about who did what and when, who is right and who is wrong, I think we can all agree to the following: Israelis, Palestinians and all human beings have the right to exist in peace.
Extremists on both sides tend to link a political conflict into an existence/eradication discussion. We lived together for thousands of years in peace… what is so different about coexisting these days…. The difference IMHO is that we have politically bankrupt politicians.
I don’t care what you call it … Israel or Palestine… you may want to call it Israeltine… As long as the country provides liberties, safety and equal rights among its citizens people will accept that country, love it and defend it…. Hence I live in the states!!
