Hi QS, my vote goes to Panasonic.
I just got the TH-50PZ850U delivered last Tuesday and it's very nice. Got it from abesofmaine.com for $2K. I was going to get the Pioneer Kuro PDP-5020FD but heard they have had power supply problems. One review I read said his went out in a month so that scared me away.
As far as Samsucks goes, well, the name speaks for itself.
