IMHO ... LCDs are almost up to the level of plasmas but not yet.

If you're going to get a larger screen (large to me means 48"-50" and over), want upper quality pic, is gonna be a focus of the room and better overall TV - then I say get a plasma.

There's something about viewing it from every angle and having each pixel be a backlight that so far is hard to pass up.

Oh and I second Pioneer ... I love my 60" Pio!
