So at the risk of being a bit THICK as my British mum in law would say...I have V31 downloaded but not yet installed. I have an 06 with an MkIV. Should I remain at V29, move to V31, or if it aint broke, dont worry about fixing it.?

I also bought the 08-1 Nav disk which I havent installed yet either.

And lastly, I have a custom startup "splash" screen (small) that a fellow X5 world friend made for me which I haven't installed yet either..

Should I install the V31 first, the Nav update, the custome splash screen or does it matter which one goes first..?
