If you add the diesel emissions fluid (adblue) fill-up cost, that can be hundred of dollars once or twice a year.

Case you forgotten, there is a big tank full of urea in the back of the diesel machines to clean up the exhaust that needs to be replenished.

So at the end of the day, not really cost effective IMHO, and also doubt that it's very environmentally friendly either.

Great efficient engines though...
