They need to stop using the term "Global Warming". The term was originally used because it referred to the warming of the polar ice caps. But the result of warming of the polar ice caps is not the warming of the entire globe, but a redistribution of global climate and weather patterns. Places that were warm can become cold. Places that were cold can become warm. And the most obvious change is more extreme weather in general. In the coming years, we will see more and more records of all sorts happen as more extreme weather continues to happen. There will be record heat, record cold, record winds, record storms, etc. Places that never got snow before will get snow, places that always got snow will have years with no snow, places that get rain will have record floods, while others will get no rain and have record droughts. Better get used to updating the climate record books, because we are just seeing the beginning here.
