I guess you took my response to rastaFarai as if i was asking for advice and or suggestions. However if you read my post you won't find a request for either.
But your correct it is a public forum and Sorry you took offense......
However since the OP did this install and i have the same MacBook pro I was asking them not for advice but how the performance of the new drive compared to the drive that was replaced.
Although it was appreciated I wasn't asking for suggestions or advice regarding similar systems. I thought i made that clear when I said,
"Thanks for the info but the Mac Mini and the MacBook pro are 2 different computers. Your experience will be different than rastaFarai."
Did you notice I thanked you for your response? I also said That "Your experience will be different than rastaFarai". That was my way of being polite and that I was waiting for "rastaFarai's" response.
I hope that clears up any misunderstanding..........
