Circling back for an update: took another trip to the slopes and drove through 1-5 inches of snow. The Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme's handled like a charm as I maintained a speed of 45-70mph on a variety of road conditions. The CEO (wifey) was worried on some of the partially plowed mountain highways as we saw possibly 10+ accidents...but i was determined to snowboard some fresh powder... ...the tires were very responsive. This will now be my preferred winter setup. Needless to say, we made it to the slopes and had a great time
