internet sales dept is probably your best bet. They were willing to say "I can do just $1500 above invoice" without sugarcoating or selling anything. This was before the economic downturn... so now you will probably have even better luck with them. I went to cars.com or something like that to start the mass-email process.
If they still can't give you an invoice price, you can at least use that price to compete with other dealers - they will fight over you.
