Personally I can't agree with this... not because you're saying the E70 is bulky (I can see why some may think that) but I just don't see the E53 as being good looking (unless you're talking the sporty IS versions with the proper tailpipe-area bodywork and its lowered aggressive stance - the other E53s just seemed so unfinished and now-dated). There are common SUVs that are even ahead of it in my opinion. I think the E70 made great strides in terms of sportiness and lines that work especially coming from the E53 design. The rear design (taillights, tailpipes, etc.) of the common E53 is actually very undesirable in my eyes.
