I forget what the max lift weight is ... it may be right around that (6000 or 7000 lbs). Good point. I was thinking of my 318ti which is a goooooood deal lighter  I have a good number of projects to do on that yet where a lift would be nice (especially since it's lowered and I have to put it on ramps or jack it up in the front to even get an oil pan under there to do a change).
