Ahhh, but what people tend to forget is: THE ONE POST LIFT..
What people fail to mention is, the POSTS actually take up a lot of room. The advantage to a one post lift is, it doesn't hog up the garage. The other advantage is, you can drive off, drive on.
The only down side, even though you can do some light DIY, it's really not a "repair" type lift, it is a "parking lift".. So if you're just adding storage space, it's perfect. If you are looking for something so you can do brake flushes, rotor changes, etc. go with a 2-4 post.
Oil changes can easily be done on a one post lift though.
