Technically speaking, how did you come up with the 28cm dimension as opposed to selecting another dimension, say, 27cm or 26cm, (over any other number), that would have allowed the volume to be closer to the 'optimum' 12.7 liter volume?

Also, why did you choose not to use MDF 1.8cm board all the way around?

If you had made an angle designed enclosure, how would you have gotten it into that compartment?

What year is your X5? Is your subwoofer compartment size the same as that of an '01 X5?
