The shade for my moon roof (not the glass, the shade) is suddenly inoperable (stuck open) on my 4.8is. My dealer tells me that the reapair is a $4k job with labor
, and is NOT covered by my BMW CPO warranty
because the moon roof is considered "trim"
(not my definition of trim!) and therefore not covered.
Does this sound correct???
My X is an '04, so there's no wat I can justify putting in $4k for a moon roof shade.
Does anyone have a dealer in the NY area that might find a way to cover this under my CPO? Any ideas other than just live with it? Thanks.
