I was very interested too, after a friend got a new 530i with the Anthracite trim -- it has vertical striations in the wood... After using the "Build Your Own" option on the BMWUSA web site, it looks like the same wood as the 530, yet everyone that has a X5 says it is more of the "burled walnut" look -- like I already have... If I could find the other style, I would replace my "dark wood" immediately....
