Suggest you go back to your dealer and ask them. You seem to have a specific warranty package from that dealer. What do your different warranty policies say?

You are mentioning oil changes and brakes in the same phrase, and that just doesn't sound right. Oil changes are part of the maintenance package, and are not warranty. Brakes are generally considered wear items and not covered by warranties. Brake wear can be covered by a maintenance plan, but in Canada brakes are only covered if you purchased an additional maintenance plan (called Full Maintenance) over and above the scheduled maintenance plan. Maybe your vehicle has a separate Full Maintenance plan as well.

Your warranty doesn't expire until 2011. If there is an additional warranty available it would normally be available up until the expiry of the current warranty. YMMV. We can't say for sure. What is confusing in this is your reference to brake warranty.

Has your dealer confirmed that there is any extended warranty available after 2011? My point was that there just wasn't such a policy when I enquired at my dealership. Maybe that has changed in the interim.
