you need to figure it out quick. the MOST expensive thing you can do is buy a NEW car....

on second thought, yes, the maintenance costs are high and WHO KNOWS how much higher they can get. Go buy a NEW car so it can depreciate (drastically) and one of us can buy it and have the cheap (relatively) repairs.

as above a good indy is essential, and DIY is fun AND inexpensive....
