To each his own. I find OS X harder to use. And I have a lot more choices for software for Windows.
As far as the hardware, you could make toast on my brothers Macbook. Pathetic engineering. Not as bad as the nineties when the laptops were utter crap. And if you want to build your own system, you have to violate the user agreement and IP laws. Can you say Fascist?
