Tire size is dependent upon wheel size, both diameter and width...
if you go with oem or close replica 18" wheels, then there are lots
of "standard" tire sizes available. Tell your friends they are mistaken;
an oem sized 18" wheel with appropriate tires will work very well
and your speedo won't know the difference. Same goes for 19" and
20", if sized correctly.
