The only other option is to stop mileage which requires someone of knowledge who can install a hidden switch in the vehicle which cuts off all recording computers, then you have it unistalled when you sell or trade in the vehicle. I've heard of people who have done this however I personally find it pretty disgusting that anyone would. I'm sure none of us would like it if it was done to us.
