It was written by a Canadian, from Canada, about the Canadian health care system, for an American audience, solely to debunk myths that many Americans believe about our health care system. God knows there are enough misconceptions out there to more than fill a ten point list

My support for universal health care coverage doesn't come with blinders that suggest everything is perfect in our current system, far from it. That doesn't mean I would discard it, given the choice.
