To answer your question... NO, this does not happen to MAC people.

I used to be die hard PC, until I moved away from my office and no longer had a staff of computer nerds. Withing 6 months, all my pc's (I had 4)were mangled.

I bought a MAC, then another, then another, then another. I'm now on my 4th MAC and the only problem I have ever had was a corrupted hard drive on a Lap Top (could happen on any computer..)

My MAC's are relatively trouble free. No viruses, no tech support issues, no need for computer nerds..

Go get a MAC.
