I would think you get to pick it up at least a week sooner than taking delivery at the dealer. I wonder how it works for Canadian orders. Is it like Euro delivery, where you personally take delivery but the vehicle is still shipped to your dealer? I would still do it just to see the plant etc. I took the tour to Munich and the BMW museum there and it was great!
