OEM Sirius antenna questions

Hi all.

I have a 2005 X5 4.4 with the OEM Sirius radio installed. Because it's fairly lame (display, presets, saved songs etc), I have installed a Sportster 5 through the AUX port.

I have a few questions about the OEM Sirius install:

1 - Any chance I could use the OEM antenna installed to work with my Sportster rather than with the OEM Sirius radio? If so, where does the antenna terminate? I haven't been able to figure it out. My antenna is mounted on the rear overhang (spoiler?) and goes into the seam between the rear door and the rest of the vehicle.

2 - Any way I could have my Sportster connect through the Sirius port rather than using Aux? How would this be done?

3 - Any advice in terms of mounting the Sportster and hiding the antenna?

4 - My antenna is getting pretty old and beat up and the adhesive strip attaching it to the vehicle has come off, so it's basically just moving around on the top of my X5 (the magnet still works, but the thing moves alot and has even come off the roof when driving at high speeds). Does anyone know if the Sirius receiver and/or antenna is covered under any extended warranty? My vehicle just passed the 4 year, 50k mark in December. I do have the CPO warranty, though.

Thanks for the help!

Rob
