My local Verizon store assigned one of their techs to try to pair a Treo 650 to my 2005 x5. After getting the phone and car to more-or-less recognize each other, the tech tried dialing a number. The car dialed, but before the phone could connect, the phone turned off. This happened several times. I should add that the BT is working fine with a Cingular Motorola that is successfully paired with the car.

So...does anyone have a suggestion? Or does anyone know when Verizon/Palm will provide the software patch to allow the Verizon version of the Treo 650 to properly pair? Does anyone know whether the soon-to-be-released Treo 700 will be an approved phone?
