........I'm as new as (you are?) to this whole area, too. I guess I will try to verify this stuff before proceeding.
Even if there's a practical method of sealing the OEM enclosure, the contoured face/body of that enclosure
just barely has enough room to cut the 23.8" diameter (for the Pioneer subwoofer).
A technical question (for anyone): This 10" Pioneer woofer can operate in a wide range of volumes: from 9.9 liters to 19.9 liters with 12.7 liters being the 'optimum'.
How would the sound be '
different' in a 9.9 liter and 19.9 liter volume box when compared to the sound produced by the 'optimum' 12.7 liter box? In general more subwofer box volume = ??? Less subwoofer box volume = ????
