If you just bought it, and after about 15 miles the DSC light came on yellow... I would guess they did an alignment and didn't reset the steering angle sensor. If they had to straighten the steering wheel, the sensor may now be seeing the wheel at an angle, but the wheel speed sensors tell it it's going straight. That would cause a plausibility fault and the sensor would simply need to be re-calibrated. But only reading the fault codes could tell you for sure.
Either way the dealer should have absolutely no problem correcting this as you had it for 15 miles... Good luck and welcome to X5world!
