drove in my Toyo Proxes all-seasons & 20s just fine again in 2" of snow. No problems.

I got a 328xi loaner (for '09, they call them 328i with xdrive badging on the side actually - that threw me)... and you can tell the 17s were more ideal in the snow, but the 20s did not falter all that much more. I think the weight of the X helps it too. I was so glad to be back in the X... the difference in comfort was night and day, to be honest. The interior is much better done as well... it made me appreciate it more.

And for anyone interested... the lighter 328 @ 230hp is worse than the heavier X5 @ 260hp.
