i have been back there and taken everything apart so i am familiar with the setup, and i do have the same harness and you have shown. the high level harness coming out of my amp has 5 wires, one is ground and the other 4 appear to be for speakers as they say L+ & - and R + & -. are these the ones that i put (bridged?) into the sub? where does the ground go?
where do i connect the spliced pin 7 & 14 wires, to the other side of the amp for the main + & - ?? is the remote, or 'turn-on' wire no longer needed?

Not sure why you see only 5 wires. If you have DSP and the same harness as mine you should see something like what is illustrated in the pic here. This is a pic of my own harness. I have added the pin diagram below to help. The color of your wires may vary from the photo. You should notice 2 cables thicker than the others. These are pin #8 (power +12v) and pin #15 (ground). That should help locate pin #7 and pin #14.
If you do not have the 15 pins connector then you may have the non premium audio with a 12 pins connector which then is a totaly different wiring.
