Maybe he figured that if he can hold his breath when his lungs are full of smoke, he'll do better in the water. Besides, it's clean smoke, all the impurities get filtered out by the water.

Yeah, definitely had some good times while listening to that song. Didn't Pato Banton sing it? That's the version I listened to during my higher learning days (or should I say daze).
