Got my front pads replaced not long ago
and the "check lining" light comes on again.
Good timing as the power steering hoses had
a small leak. Very small job, the clamps needed
replacing.
So in the X goes to get the needed repairs. Turns out
the cable connector for the rear brakes got a bit
of dirt in it and sent a false signal saying it was time
to get a brake job. Result "NO CHARGE" no brake job
needed.
I suppose another mechanic would have went ahead
and did the job and charged me anyway. It's nice to
know there are still honest people in business.
