With the rivet tool though, it doesn't look like that would fit in the wheel well unless you take the tire out correct? We had to do it by hand without the tool - 2 people, lots of elbow grease for a tiny plastic piece... not fun. I still need to finish the job actually... some holes are still unfilled (strategic spots though). |
if you jack the car up you can take the rivets out with the wheels on and replace most of them. Yes there will be a couple you can't use the rivet tool on until you take the wheels off. If you have axle stands then it is much easier to remove the wheels first.
