Here are some pictures of my 16 month old Rottweiler. They are from an AKC show a couple of weekend ago. He's got some more growing to do and definitely more maturing but he's a great dog. He's a pretty lean and muscular dog; more of a working type Rottweiler. He's doing pretty well in AKC shows but has done better in international/German style shows. Now my wife is working on training him for his German/Schutzhund obedience title. Good luck with that, right?
Here is a gorgeous Akita that reminded me of one I had years ago.
Some people are a little obsessed with their dogs. This van had custom painted murals on both sides, each side depicting different scenes.
Here is a new and creative way to supervise your child and also a new and creative use of a soft dog crate. This kid was fully zipped in but seemed happy. A crate trained kid: What a novel idea!
For the photography guys:
I used a Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS lens on my 40D. The lens was great and super sharp. (These photos are untouched. Weather was overcast with a little sun peeking through lots of clouds with occasional sprinkles or rain.) It's a lightweight lens and the focal range is excellent. I took a bunch of photos of the second day of the show which was held in an old building with poor overhead lighting (think '60's school cafeteria) and the f/4 just wasn't fast enough.

Next up will be the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS for the next show which will be entirely indoor.
