Seafoam has been quite popular in all sorts of circles for some time. I have used it in the past with decent results and never had any long term issues. Seems to work great on "used" cars when you don't fully know previous care and maintenance.

I am just about to 85K miles and this thread has prompted me to add that to the list of things to do.

Besides doing it through the vac system you can use it in the fuel system and in the oil. Most recommend you add to the oil, drive a few hundred miles then do your standard oilchange.
