If your bore size is in fact 74.1, that is incorrect for the e53. That is the bore size for the e70. What you need is the hubcentric rings for 72.6 to 74.1
Are you sure they are 74.1? I'd double check. If so, then you definitely need hubcentric rings. Hope that helps.
