Definite purchase for a road warrior who likes to read. That's not me but I'm enough of a geek to drop $400 for the unit plus the Patagonia cover. I never liked reading print newspapers and I think it will be good for the FT compared to reading it online. I like the new form factor... Apple like in its sleekness
TNY is my favorite magazine. I'm not sure that the Kindle edition will replace the paper one for me: There are fewer cartoons and not all of the content. The cartoon contest and letters, for example. The former can be found on their web site. It will be an interesting decision when my print subscription comes up for renewal in the summer.
