Ok, so to be clear, before I try this, by the way thanks for the advice. My door will not open from interior or exterior handles, both handles are not frozen and move freely. I will try this fix and feel confident if I have explained myself correctly it should be fixed. I have moderate skills on these types of things but do have some friends who are advanced so I am thinking between us and some coldies we can fix it...
