Hi all...

I am new to the forum and straight away i need your help?!?!

I have a X5 2001 (3.0) model, and the car cuts out. The garage tells me its the camshafts sensors that needs replacing and theres 3 of them. Could they be telling me the truth? can this cause the problem? Sorry, i really dont know much about cars but find it hard to believe that a sensor can cause this headache...

Any suggestions would be great and many thanks in advance
