HuskerX5 is on a distinguished road
If it is like every other power headrest, extend it all the way up and just give it a quick upward blow with the palm of your hand. This will pop it loose, and it will come free. Don't be shy, give it a good whack. The power headrests on my M5 were very difficult, to the point I thought I would break them if I hit them any harder...in the end, they came loose.
Insertion will the the same, but not as much downward pressure as you will "feel" it pop back into place. I hope this helps you.
