Price seems fair, as you know, just have to determine if the car is in great shape.
The 4.8is has very few options like what was said, so don't worry about staying away from any certain 4.8is options. Now if you're debating on X5 options like whether to stick to the 3.0 or the 4.4 that's another can of worms

I personally like the looks, motor and features that come with the 4.8is. More $, a little less gas mileage, possibly more maintenance with air ride and so on.
Just take the next week like you said and invest into reading all the info. here on the forum about the different models, opinions, etc.
