Self created problems was the car being towed to an impound for not paying tickets. Thats where it should end..not where it begins. The fact that they damaged his vehicle to a large extent or any extent is unnacceptable. So they should just get a free pass for fcking up his car because "he forgot to pay his tickets?!!"
